Prayer Letter 代禱信 8

Dear Intercessors 親愛的代禱者：  

1.  Praise the Lord.  I have just finished second week of my chemotherapy.  This morning I had my routine check up with my doctor and also injected my bi-weekly chemo medicine.  Please pray that in the next few days, I won’t feel nauseated.  Reduce all side effects from the injection and radiation therapy. 
感謝主，化療的第二週已經結束。今天早上我 回診看醫生，也剛剛打了第二次的化療注射劑，所以請為我接下來的這幾天，不會感到噁心、想吐等等來禱告，並減少所有化療和電療的副作用。

2.  There was great news from the doctor visit this morning.  From the CAT scan result, there are three tumors on my liver and previously my doctor guesses them to be metastasis of colon cancer to liver.  After PET scan analysis finding the tumors on liver to be inactive, today he said that they are non-cancerous.  Even though these tumors still need to be tracked, he already ruled out his previous presumption and said that my cancer did NOT spread to liver.  Yeeees!  Praise the Lord. 
今天門診有一個好消息，就是之前在做斷層檢查，看見我肝上面有腫瘤（一大兩小），之前以為是腸癌擴散到肝。但是做完正子掃描檢查之後，發現肝上面的瘤對葡萄糖完全沒有反應，所以張簡醫生和正子檢驗分析師覺得那瘤是良性的。雖然還需要繼續追蹤，但是至少已經排除腸癌擴散到肝的可能。真是感謝讚美主。

3.  Our decision to come back to Taiwan was made on a rush and the length of my treatment was a lot longer than we expected.  Therefore, there are things in the States that I have to go back and take care of them immediately.  I am planning to go back for about two weeks.  After consulting with my doctor, he said after completing radiation (around 7/22) and before surgery (around 8/29), I can go back for two weeks (around 7/29 to 8/22) but the exact time cannot be certain until completing my radiation therapy (If my stool gets really painful and has to delay therapy, then the completion date will be postponed).  I have only gone through radiation therapy for 10 days (out of 28), but I already felt minor pain after 10 days (My radiation doctor made fun of me that people from the States are afraid of pain.  He is a really funny guy.  I always have fun around him.  He even called me Banana Republic since I wore a t-shirt that said “B. Republic”).  Siew and the kids will go back with me when we returned to the States and I will come back to Taiwan myself later for further treatments.  Please pray for this itinerary. 
我當時決定回台灣作治療的時候非常地匆忙，作治療的時間也比我們預期的久很多，在美國還有一些事情必須要我馬上回去處理安排一下，預計去兩個星期就回來。詢問張簡醫生之後，他說我電療完成（大約7/22），開刀之前（大約8/29），可以回一趟美國（大約7/29到8/22之間）。但是準確的時間要等到電療完才會確定（若是排便痛到必須暫停或延後電療，時間就會往後延），我現在才做10天就微痛，已經和醫生反應（電療的醫生笑我美國回來的很怕痛，我和他常常有說有笑的，他看到身上寫B. Republic，還說我是香蕉共和國的）。我回美國，會和秀君和小孩一起回去，之後他們就會留在美國，我自己再一個人回台灣作接下來的治療。請為這個行程的安排禱告。
