Prayer Requests of the Chow Clan

We are about to depart for Los Angeles and leave for Taiwan on November 16th. On Dec 10th, we will fly back from Taiwan to Los Angeles and hopefully to make it back to Kansas City by Dec 18th. Here are our prayer requests:

1. We can focus on Jesus throughout the whole trip.
2. Pray that God will grant me His eyesight, so I will see Taiwan as He sees Taiwan
3. Siew Chiun’s passport was sent back to Malaysia to be renewed and has not returned to the Los Angeles office, yet. Pray that it will arrive before we depart for Taiwan.
4. Our entire family is sick right now, having fever and coughing. Unless we are all well, we will not be on the road. Originally we planned to start driving back to Los Angeles on November 3rd or 4th, but now the schedule might be delayed.
5. We have heard that now H1N1 vaccine is required to enter Taiwan, but there is a lot of mercury inside the vaccine. We don’t want to take the vaccine and especially Joshua’s previous illness is highly sensitive to mercury. Tomorrow I will call the Taiwan’s office in Los Angeles to confirm such requirement.
6. Pray that God will keep and watch our place in Kansas while we are gone for a month and half.
7. We will drive Pastor Joseph’s Ciena back to Los Angeles. Pray that we will have a safe trip. His van has been such a blessing to us. May God remember His generosity!
8. We have an Infiniti Los Angeles and that car has been 12 years old. We wonder if it will make it back to Kansas City. Pray that God will provide us a vehicle in Los Angeles or in Kansas City. We prefer at Kansas City since the airfares for 5 are cheaper than the hotels, gas, food and all other costs.
9. We will stay at Shih-Jing and Janice’s place when we are at Los Angeles. Janice is currently pregnant. May God bless their heart, protect her pregnancy and grant the baby joy and peace.
10. Please pray for our services in Home of Christians:
. November 11th, Wednesday prayer meeting (Siew leads the worship and I share the word)
. November 15th, First Sunday Service Sermon
. November 15th, Second Sunday Service 10-minute sharing
