代禱信 10-30-12

親愛的代禱者：

Dear Intercessors:

時間過得很快，一轉眼我已經回來台灣五個月，目前還在吃化療葯，明天就要停了，很高興。真是非常特別的五個月，其中充滿了許多恩典和見證，也感受到許多朋友的關懷，這一路走來，值得感恩的事情實在比受的苦多得太多了。讚美主！

Time goes by very quickly.  I have already been in Taiwan for five months, still taking chemo medicine but tomorrow will be the last day of my chemo.  Yes!  It has been a very special 5 months, full of grace and testimonies.  I also felt a lot of caring and love from many friends.  There are so many things that I want to thank for.  Praise the Lord1!

1.  這個週末（11/1-11/4）要去士林靈糧堂分享雅歌的信息，禱告中感受到 神很愛教會，也很喜悅士林這群百姓，祂喜悅他們的程度使我羞愧，因為我發現我真的並那麼愛教會（所有的教會），所以即使我在化療中，祂還是要我修改我已經很熟悉的信息，並製作投影片，更多地擺上等等。 禱告祂的愛親自澆灌所有在場的人，更新他們的生命。

I will be sharing Song of Songs at Shi Lin Bread of Life this coming weekend (11/1-4).  When I was praying for the church, I was touched by the tremendous love that God has for the church.  His strong love for the Church (all the churches) made me ashamed of myself because I realized that I really did not love the Church very much.  His love prompted me to work more on my messages and make power points for them, even while I am doing chemo.  Please pray that He will pour out His love on all who attend and transform their lives.

2.  下個星期（預計11/8）就要開刀，把罩口關掉，禱告一切檢查、手術和復原都順利，主的手握住醫生的手！

My surgery (stoma reversal) is scheduled for next week (11/8).  Please pray that all the checkup, surgery and recovery will be smooth.  The Lord’s hands will be with the doctor’s hands.

3.  預計11/23 就飛回美國，在洛杉磯停一晚，24號飛堪薩斯市，和妻子孩子團聚。禱告我通過移民局時能順利，並且我的身體狀況良好，在飛機上有休息的恩典。

My scheduled flight to the U.S. is on 11/23.  I will stay in L.A. for one night and fly to Kansas City on the 24^th to be with my wife and kids.  Please pray that I will pass the immigration smoothly and also that I can get some rest on the plane so my physical condition will be great.

4.  堪薩斯市最近天氣變得很冷，禱告秀君和孩子們的身體健康。

It’s really cold at Kansas City recently.  Please pray for Siew and the kids’ health.

5.  回到堪薩斯市後，我想盡量跟隨吳永志醫師的食療法，繼續在飲食上注意，求主給我智慧。之後的前一兩年，我每三到六個月都需要回台灣跟進檢查，因為我沒有醫療保險，若在美國跟進，做任何一個檢查（跟進檢查不止做一個檢查而已）就比來回機票還貴。也為我未來兩年的服事行程禱告，我在猜， 神要我常跑亞洲，不過還是要想辦法好好休息、養好身體。

After I return to Kansas City, I will try to follow the diet program of Doctor Wu.  Please pray that I will have the wisdom on knowing how to eat right.  For the next year or two, I will have to come back to Taiwan to do routine checkups every 3 to 6 months.  Since I don’t have medical insurance in the U.S., any checkup (follow-up checkups will consist more than one checkup) will cost more than the airfare.  Please also pray for my ministry schedule next two years.  I am guessing that God wants me to come back to Asia a lot.  However, I still need to find a way to rest well and stay healthy.
